My daughter Manasi (M) danced on the event of Onam festival in our apartment. She was supposed to dress up like a Malayalee girl 🙂 M being a tomboyish girl is very fussy about wearing ethnic dresses and jewellery. M wears the pavadai (Langa blouse) only on special occasions.
Based on the chosen colour combination of the dress, I made her a necklace, earrings and nethichutti with quilling and American diamond stones. M loved wearing those as they were light weight and that was a major accomplishment for me as a mother 🙂
Creativity can evolve based on the requirement and as an individual we attain fulfillment when the receiver appreciates whatever we deliver.
