Happy New Year

Watched *It’s a wonderful life*, an American classic starring James Stewart and Donna Reed. It’s a great movie (that I enjoyed watching with my husband), reiterating one of life’s most important lessons “Count your blessings”. As we approach the end of 2022, I implore you to cherish all the wonderful moments, being grateful for them and look forward to a wonderful 2023.

Happy New Year!

Enjoy your life!

Gifts that speak your heart

Handmade cards or posters be it simple or grand speak our heart. When someone invites us for a special family occasion, I feel that personalized handmade creations will be better appreciated than the fancy gifts that we buy.

I made this poster for my friend as a house warming gift. This was created on a canvas board with quilled flowers and leaves and a cloth-made flower border.

If you would like to own or gift a personalised poster/frame you may reach out to me @ indulge.creativity@gmail.com

Happy Independence day, India!

India – A beautiful country to live in with diverse culture.

I admire the following quotes by Mahatma Gandhi

Where there is love there is life.
You must be the change you wish to see in the world.
My life is my message.
Live as if you were to die tomorrow; learn as if you were to live forever.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.
The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.
Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.
Poverty is the worst form of violence.
Let us enjoy each and every moment of this life and impart a good value system for the next generation.

Hello there..

Hello there..

I am blogging to showcase my interests and as a testimonial to my passion for creativity. Over the last decade I have been engrossed with my job, family and kids. I decided to take a break from work and dedicate my energy and time to take care of my two wonderful kids – aged 9 and 5. My interests range from photography, cooking, quilling, poster/greeting card making to attending the Carnatic music classes with my kids.

As Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam said,

“Creativity is the key to success in the future, and primary education is where teachers can bring creativity in children at that level.”

“Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge, knowledge makes you great!”

Through this blog, I would like to share my ideas to serve as an inspiration to the next generation.
